I still cant workout this Vat charge,

Charges on my Ebay account say in one place Vat has been paid by Buyer,Then in another part say I am being charged also,How can this be,

Im being charged Ebay fees of $10 then VAT of $7.

Taking Nearly half of what Postage cost,

Thought I had it worked out but still confusing.

I can only assume that the buyers payment to you included  VAT of  $7.  I doubt you are set up to collect and remit VAT  on behalf of an international tax office.  In which case ebay would collect the tax paid from you and remit it to the relevant tax office.
