ID requirements for managed payments

Ebay needs to change it's ID policy for managed payments, I do not have a drivers license or passport and will never have them, I do however have a proof of age card with photo or a Medicare card which should be options.

Re: ID requirements for managed payments

try putting your proof of age card number in the DL field. It works for some states.

eBay gives you an option to upload a proof of age card scan if it cant' confirm your details did that but the message won't ago away is this a bug or something.

Re: ID requirements for managed payments

I,m in SA too. The Photo proof of age,  ID card worked for the missus for around two months, but then ebay spat the dummy and froze the account up again, stating it wasnt suitable id. She had to end up applying for a passport to continue selling.

Different people seem to be reporting different things. Is there anyone out there who has successfully used the proof of age id card, had it stick for several months and what state are you in ?
