Nova - I think your post and complaints only serve to highlight the importance of following your own advice to other posters.
Read the listing, don't make assumptions if it is unclear and ask questions before you purchase. If something is that time important for you to receive - then isn't it sensible to confirm with a seller via message that they will be able to fulfill your requirements.

I did not want to go into irrelevant details; but what actually happened was that I googled the particular item. I clicked on a link that took me to the particular item, I bought the item, which had a claim that they ship next business day. It was not until after I bought and paid for it, that I explored the site further, and it took me to the HOME page, where there was among all sort of other info the line that some items may not be in stock. Every other on line store that I dealt with before, disables the function to buy if the item is out of stock, so I do not think that assuming it does not apply to the item I just bought is not unreasonable. In any case, if I contacted them immediately after I paid, there is no reason to believe they would have been any more helpful than they were couple of weeks later. After their "too bad, you are committed" email, I called them and they were incredibly rude. It is up to sellers to give all the info, not up to buyers to have search for hidden notices.
However, all that is totally irrelevant. What I was trying to point out was that it is not all that simple to get chargeback on CC; even as in my case I had no item, the seller admitted they did not post it, they admitted they do not have it to post, they did not know when or if they will have it, all that was not good enough for the bank to start chargeback.
I often wonder what happened to the people who came here asking for help with chargeback being initiated against them; they were given advice, and they disappeared. I would imagine that if the matter did not resolve in their favour, at least some would be back asking for more help or to vent.

Buyer have no choice but to leave poss feedback if they dont leave poss feedback they cant leave any ebay need to fix this ASAP so it would be fair to the sellers it all one sided at the moment.

Sellers are frustrated at seeing buyers remain on ebay who continually buy and don't pay. Ebay does nothing about it.

A lot of members are frustrated by people who drag old threads up without adding anything relevant.
A lot of us are frustrated that eBay does nothing about it.
There are many ways to ensure shonks don't bid on your items. Try some of them.

Not being able to leave neg/fb for buyers is like a very unfair rule. totally one sided .
There are buyers, who bid and don't pay, those who do not communicate what so ever, those who say they did not get the item, whilst they actually did, those who break or use things and blame the seller, Those who try to get a refund and keep the item.
Why are buyers elevated to saint hood while there are so many cheats out there.
