If I list a new item at the same time as a previous item ends does this interfere with the bidding?

Shouldn't do ๐Ÿ™‚ All listings are independent of one another, so a new listing won't interfere with current listings or bidding activity on others ending at that time (unless someone gets distracted by the new stuff you've listed. Smiley Very Happy )

If it's an identical item, it could interfere, so I'd leave it until the first one has ended.

I've seen sellers run an auction for an item at say 99c. They have a few bids, goes up little by little to 5 or 6$, then before that auction has ended they list a second identical one at 99c.

The bids dry up on the first one as the bidders start looking at getting the second one for less than the first.

Bear in mind a lot of bidders like to place their bid at the last minute, so even a few minutes overlap could matter.

If the items are different, can't see it being a problem ๐Ÿ™‚

If it is an identical item and there is more than one bidder then I would wait until it finishes and send a second chance offere to the underbidder.
