International postage delayed due to COVID-19

Just a heads up that my local Australia Post advised yesterday that the COVID-19 virus is causing extensive delays to outbound and inbound international mail deliveries. I am messaging all OS buyers to inform them to expect delays. It wont stop the worry worts and freebie hunters from putting in claims, but it might help slow the " item not recieved " problem.

I am contacting the ACCC to seek help.

eBay has washed their hands of this now. the online chat says there is nothing they can do, they acknowlege it seems incorrect but they said it can only be resolved by the appeals team. I requested the team leader to contact me, the reply i got which i posted was from the team leader...

Surely what they are doing here is illegal, they are helping to commit fraud.

Don't know what options Australia Post has for international postage, but today Qantas announced cancellation of all international flights until October (except to NZ)
