International registered Post( general question.)

Can anyone advise the date late in 2015 that Canada Post and US Post took Australia Post off being able to directly access thier respective postal tracking systems.

It appears Australia Post can only now request information from these Postal Authorities.

Was this advied in the media?

Did we reciprocate with them also as I thought these were friendly countries.?

International registered Post( general question.)

It is probably at least a couple of years since registered International Post has not been trackable on the US, Canadian, Uk and some other sites.

International registered post is not offered as a trackable service by Australia Post. If you need tracking you need to use Pack N Track or one of the Express Post services.

I don't know about Canada Post, but USPS was 1st October, 2015 (they cut 132 countries, blaming the other countries' tracking systems etc, which doesn't make the slightest bit of sense because tracking in the US is reliant on their systems, and they showed tracking events for registered post up until then).

Canada Post even used to display tracking events for the standard customs number on the green forms, but that seemed to stop happening about a year ago, not sure re: registered post tracking events.
