Sent a parcel out on the 24th of April. Tracking shows a bit of movement until the 30th of April when it ended up in Granville, NSW and has been sitting.......and sitting........and sitting......since then.
I opened an enquiry with Aus Post last week and have been told it can take up to 10 days to get an answer.
Usually AP is pretty reliable so this is a reall bummer.
I just hope it starts moving again as I have no idea how this woud be sorted out with the buyer if the item never gets delivered.

As far as I'm concerned Chullora is a HUGE problem....so am not surprised by your dilemma 😞

If it has the words - Sorting Center - after the name then ...yup its going to be a problem.
Get onto aust post facebook page - get a reply in a couple of hours.

Think the best advice we can give you is keep at them, and at them, and at them, and of course keep the customer in the loop every couple of days.
Have just been exact circus with Granville and AP!
Posted on the 11th April, delivered on the 10th May. From SA to NSW, also told would take 10 days to get an answer. WHAT????? Blood Pressure rising.
Every time spoke to someone on FB got someone different, and they asked for the same information over again, obviously not reading previous info already supplied. Steam coming out of my ears after the 3rd person started down the same track.
Eventually got someone else with apologies and a Money order refund sent as they couldn't find the satchell. WHAT????? Steam.
So refunded the customer.
Then of course 3 days later guess what??
Yes.... of course the satchell was delivered......now banging my head on table, agh.
We told our customer to keep them with our compliments, but she paid us
So we have now been paid twice, have just received the MO from AP in the mail. So they obviously don't know that the parcel was delivered.
Now packing an over night bag and getting ready to admit myself to whatever institution will take me.

I've now put a message onto their FB page and have had a response asking for some extra info on the buyers address etc. Now I'll wait to see what happens.
@ Glen - when AP sent you the money order - did they cover the cost of your items, or just a basic refund? The value of this satchel is about $80.00

Just an update - after putting a message on the FB page, they did get in contact with me and asked me for some details.
After doing all this and going back and forth a bit, they sent me a message to say that they could not locate it.
They are sending me a money order for $8.50 for shipping as well as a $50 money order to compensate for the contents.
Unfortunately the package was valued at just over $72, but I guess it is better than nothing.
Now to tell the customer.....

Granville sorting centre is the worst, I had a package that Made to there 6 times. It got sent away and returned over and over before finally making it to the next facility 2 weeks later.
