Is anyone else being denied their 3 free re-listings, despite ticking the box, if items don't sell?

After careful checking, all my listings were ticked to be re-listed if the items didn't sell within the 10 day time frame.  My amount of items listed has dropped significantly because the 'free' re-listings just are not happening. I am also noticing that some listings are appearing with 'Make and Offer' against them, which I absolutely don't offer.  How can these changes be made and how can a calculate postage message appear on an item listed as 'free postage'?  I am beginning to feel as though my business, however small, is no longer wanted on eBay.  Can anyone shed some light on what is going on???

All my items are re-listed separately and each item is checked for the free 3 relisitngs and I make damned sure the 'make an offer' is NOT ticked.  I have low sales and would be lucky if I sold ten items per month!!  I am definately a low volume seller and am a little disturbed that you can say that I am not!!!  Why would you even question my sales, when that is not the issue at hand???

I am simply asking the community if they are getting the 3 free relistings if an item is not sold, nothing more!

I rarely list auction items more than once straight away after they have ended. I wll usually list them again on another id which I use for 10 day BINs with Best Offer and if they don't sell then they either go into a bulk listing with similar things that haven't sold, they are put to one side and listed again after a couple of months or more or they head off to the Op shop.

I have just relisted three items with three free relistings using my last free listings of forty for the month.
I had to manually remove the best offer rip off yet again as I only sell items at a price that does not mean I lose money.
And I had to adjust my postage costs to avoid losing money on postage. not profit from postage just break even.

My page views have dropped by 80 percent or more so there is not much action here anymore and my partner is doing better on Quicksales now with significantly lower costs.

So far this month I have sold one item on Ebay and it cost me $ 10.64 in fees plus paypal which adds up to about 17% alone to Ebay plus $12.50 in postage, plus packaging plus time. so it is pretty close to 30 percent cost. I have shops who will sell for 20% commission and no paypal chargebacks or false claims.

On another ID I stopped getting auto relist a while back.  I contacted ebay and after a bit of messing around it got fixed.  It disappeared again a few weeks later so I wrote again, and it was fixed within a day or so.

I'm not sure about your situation because with me they all disappeared at the same time.  You can check what auto relist is still on by clicking on the drop-down menu to the right of each listing.  If AR is on the listing there'll be a link for 'remove auto relist'.

If you have multiple items you can't use auto relist, but for single items you can use it for BOTH auctions and BIN.  That's been my experience, and a friend's as well.  If you have multiple items available and all but one item sell, you can't add auto relist until the next time you relist it.

Re best offer being ticked, the box is usually pre-ticked when you relist and you have to untick it.  If you use the bulk edit option to relist items, best offer isn't pre-ticked, so it saves a bit of time.  You can also relist everything with best offer ticked, then use the bulk edit to remove it on all your items at once (up to 100 at a time if that's how many listings you've got per page in My Selling.
