I feel the fees are not that bad for most items when you consider you would get much less for the same item at a garage sale or market. Paypal fees and postage costs I find to be the most coslty.

Across the 'Ditch' there is no local eBay site. Their online trading site charges nothing to list and only 7.9% FVF. Interesting to see they have an Australian domain name registered for their site and with 15% GST - their platform could be migrated to Australia. Long term plans hopefully and some competition would be welcomed. (I wonder if this post will be deleted ?)

Uhhhh...
A) Apple have had an official store on eBay
B) Samsung do sell on eBay - want a link to their store?
Signed, a twit who knows nothing about busines but makes a pretty good living on eBay, anyway.

Well said Digi.....but you sell yourself short.
Why do all these silly posts originate from first time posters on the boards?

SO-SARCS
Sudden Onset Self-Aggrandising & Condescending Rant Syndrome (too late for me to think up a better name / acronym lol)
Long term posters can somtimes be afflicted, but the first time is always usually the worst time.

DG, why so quick to judge? That's just the kind of overconfidence and shortsightedness in business that leads to real opportunities being missed!! Don't be a half-clued non-rhythmic bipedal, defied of all hard work against the cheap-ass! Too many of them already! Think long-term, take thy lesson, and support thy local, for the path to defamed is wide. Heed the lesson of the untwitted.
Look, I don't want everyone rushing in on this, so am hiding this here. I've found a uneek opportunity...but only for the right people.
Take a look and then tell me those revenue & profit figures don't excite you. I saw them and thought, "finally, some proper business strategy from someone uneekly qualified".

and first time posters who, apparently, neither buy nor sell here!

It's obviously a good business model - profit is 50% higher than revenue.
That means they are paid to get rid of somebody else's stock or the figures aren't exactly accurate.
