sellers can not leave negative feedback and if they leave a false +ive then it will be removed by ebay on request so saying FB will be left after received is NOT a threat.

No it's not a threat!
feedback is voluntary, they don't have to leave it at all. Sellers also have the option to have automatic feedback left after positive feedback has been left for them or after payment. If you are happy with the product leave feedback and you'll most likely receive it in return.

It is not a threat - some sellers like to wait for feedback so they know their buyer is happy with their transaction.
See ebays policy:
Threatening to leave negative or neutral feedback for another member unless the other member provides goods or services not included in the original listing is not permitted.
Buyers are not allowed to threaten sellers with negative Feedback, neutral Feedback or low Detailed Seller Ratings in order to obtain goods or services not included in the original listing.
Sellers may not require buyers to leave specific Feedback or Detailed Seller Ratings. Sellers also may not demand that buyers withdraw existing Feedback or Detailed Seller Ratings. These prohibitions apply to all Feedback activity, whether prior to, during, or after delivery of goods or services described in the original listing.

Have seen it plenty of times & don't think it is a big deal & certainly not a threat.
I'm more interested in buying/selling at the price I want with a clean quick transaction.
With feedback being voluntary it does'nt matter to me what a seller writes in their listings.
The important thing in any transaction is that both parties are happy with the outcome.
I leave feedback for all transactions but don't stress if others don't.
Works for me !!!

Was looking for a Galaxy Tab. Found 3 items from 2 sellers at identical prices.
One seller had feedback rating of 99.2%
The other had feedback rating of 100%, but, hidden in the item description was the statement "feedback will be left once feedback is received"
To me, this is a threat. It basically says "If something is wrong with the deal, and I am truthful with my feedback, then I will receive negative feedback even though I have done nothing wrong".
So this seller could be a bit shonky, but still get 100% good feedback because of this disguised threat.
Should this be allowed on ebay? I think not
Anyhow, I don't like being threatened, so naturally I accepted the other deal

That isn't a threat, a threat is "if you leave me negative feedback, I will... "
The seller hasn't mentioned anything at all about what they'll do if a buyer is unhappy with a transaction, and feedback isn't the place to communicate that and/or attempt to sort it out anyway (with the seller, I mean, it's there for future members to see if they want to deal with a seller).
Sellers put that in their listings because feedback is as important as the actual item they're purchasing to some buyers, and many think a seller "owes" it to them as soon as they pay. Maybe the wording isn't 100% to your liking, but all the seller is doing is letting people know that they will receive feedback at a certain point, to perhaps save them from receiving messages about it (when will you leave me feedback - please leave me feedback - I paid you already, where is my feedback? as a few examples of messages sellers do get).

OK, I was not aware of this. (have only ever sold 3 items)
Sorry for openning a can of worms folks, but I was recently ripped off by a shonky seller and am a bit wary at the moment.
So, I asked the question, and now I have the answer. Thanks!!!

Yes i think it is ok because a lot of buyers are lazy and do not leave feddback and then there is a very small % of buyers how have nothing better to do than tell lies and make up **bleep** and leave negative feedback and you report this to ebay as been defamation of character and they say buyers can say what ever they want what a load of **bleep**
EBAY BRING BACK THE OPTION FOR SELLERS TO LEAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK FOR BUYERS AND I BET YOU WILL SEE BUYERS CHANGE THERE ATTITUDE
EBAY STOP PROTECTING BUYERS AND START PROTECTING THE SELLERS WITHOUT THEM YOU DONT HAVE A BUSINESS
