Is leaving negative feedback even worth it?

I had a buyer offer a Best Offer which I accepted. Took 4 days for them to reply to my invoices and messages about the sale. They then proceeded to stall payment, saying it would maybe be tomorrow or definitely by the weekend etc. I sent it to resolution after 10 days and they then claimed to have put money into my bank account, told me all their family problems etc etc. No money in my bank account. I cancelled transaction. Is it even worth submitting negative feedback or is it just inviting them to send negative feedback back? What do you think?

You cant give negatitive feedback ad a seller, even giving a false negitive can be removed from a buyers account, my advice, set your blocks, put non payers on your bbl, dont cancel transaction, open a non paying dispute after fout days, close it four days later, so it gives them 8 days to pay, far to long if you ask me.

A seller is not able to leave negative feedback to a buyer, so you don't have the option.

Put him on your blocked buyers list.

Although it is too late now, you should not have cancelled the transaction.    It would have been better to continue with the dispute.   Sorry.

I do not cancel any sale now unless it has been a problem I have caused. I am sorry that I now need to open a case as it sets up a nasty situation between buyers and sellers. I just have to look after me now, and buyers may need to start reading descriptions, ask questions before purchase and pay on time. The app doesn`t help as it means another `click` to read the careful description I have written. The app means that instead of seeing my description a prospective buyer sees other seller`s similar items. Absolute madness, as I pay eBay for my store each month, but am advertising other seller`s items while my description is hidden. Then if the purchaser gets an item that didn`t match what they THOUGHT they may have bought I get a defect for item not as described. Then ask for me to cancel the sale. I received my first `defect` this way, and it took months of conversations with eBay to have it removed. Never again!
