Is there any way of letting watchers know you are moving an item to a new listing?

I would like to create a new listing for a product I currently sell. I have several variations of the item and would like to list them which I cannot currently do due to the listing being too old. How do I let the watchers of my current item know that I am still selling the same item, but under a new listing?

What I usually do when I need to end a listing that has a lot of watchers and will be relisted later or have a new listing created is to update the photos in the eBay gallery just before I end it, since if it has sales I can't change the title. The new image is usually just some text that indicates the main thing I want the watchers to know (since anyone who has something on their watch list sees the image of the item and its title).
For example - NEW STOCK COMING SOON. In your case, I would put something like 'See new listing in store with more options' or similar.

Hello,
Great Idea, I sell Stamp Albums on CD and relist if the end or if they sell. I have always wanted to let any watchers know that I have relisted the item but didn't know how. Based on the great idea mentioned I have experimented as follows.
I use a generic photo on my listings and have created a copy of it with the word "Relisted" diagonally across it. Just before the auction will end naturally, I replace the generic photo with the "Relisted" photo. This way watchers will see that the item has been relisted, the seller, if any, will also see the same photo with the word "Relisted" on it; but I don't think this will be a problem.
When item item is re-listed, I will simply remove the "Relisted" photo and replace it with the original photo.
Best wishes
Robert
