No, I manage my own inventory and don't use sell similar.

Poor possum.

Had to have a supervisor to manage 1600 listings.

Will the angst never end?

No, if you read the letter, it's clear she managed them herself, several times over, and just wanted someone at eBay to help stop the interference in her listings that was causing problems. I think we all know enough to know that when a CS rep says "oh, it's cause you use sell similar, or this, or that" it's to give you a plausible enough excuse that gets you off the phone and invested in god knows how many hours of pointless busy work that changes nothing about a broken system that's messing with listings. If nothing you do works, what else are you supposed to do but keep trying to get help from the someone that can access site data and functions users can not?

1600 listings doesn't mean only 1600 items. It sounds like she has a similar store to mine, and I have heaps of variation listings - she could be managing much, much more than that in actual inventory, and inventory management is tricky enough without eBay messing stuff up for people.

If she has been dealing with this for years, then I take my hat off to her for hanging in there and that letter not containing multiple expletives.

Re: Is your inventory up the creek?

I had the same problem with inventory numbers a while back, it lasted a few months and drove me crazy. It was linked to using sell similar which I was doing at the time to take advantage of promos as resists weren't included. It's actually what drove me to try out file exchange and that stopped the problem. Now I manage everything by csv files uploaded to ebay.
