I noticed recently on all my new listings that my Item Location is shown West Croydon South Australia When in fact I am In Croydon Park South Australia Same Post Code 5008. I have checked my address in my account and they are correct Croydon Park South Australia. So why is Ebay listing the Location of my items as West Croydon??

eBay introduced this idea partly to try and stop misrepresentation of item location, and - according to them - increase buyer confidence. They took a 'close enough is good enough' approach by only allowing one default suburb to display when it covers multiple suburbs.

Hmm...That reason doest really apply, sadly, for me..my "default Ebay Location" is an area I would most likely not buy from for all the listed reasons... for all kinds of reasons. It also I hasten to hadd well over 100km away/
The original one was just fine....
My true location I have to add to my description now, as a result of my chat session when it first appeared....
The postcode we have covers half the state which is not much help - why they picked on the town they did I dont know, its almost at the end of the alphabetical order for that postcode...
