Hi All
A couple of weeks ago I posted about a dress that I sold in February. The buyer said was not as described and opened a dispute with eBay asking for a refund with no attempt to contact me. eBay have put my funds on hold in Paypal and told me that I needed to give the buyer a return address and the item needed to be returned and that I would have to issue a refund including postage. (The dress was brand new with tags with no faults) I did everything eBay asked me to, sent her my return address, and asked her to contact me and to tell me when she had posted it. She eventually contacted me and said she had decided to keep the dress after all. I again contacted her and said that as she had opened a not as described dispute wanting a refund, ebay have asked for the dress to be returned and when would she return it? I have heard nothing more. My funds are still sitting in pending in PayPal. I'm not sure what to now. Do I contact eBay again? So many said that eBay always find in the buyers favour no matter what. Do I wait till the case has been open for 30 days and then contact them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I would dearly love access to my money.

I would contact ebay again and have them read the message where the buyer says they decided to keep the item.
Do this via a phone call, not an email. Request a call back is better.
Once they read the messages they should just close the case with no impact on you.
DO NOT escalate the case as they are just as likely to find in the buyer's favour without reading the messages between you.
Really the buyer should close the case, but sounds as tho they are pretty non responsive.
