08 Jan - Buyer buys item
09 Jan - I message him about incomplete address
30 Jan - Buyer opens case and admits error, supplies new address in case details
06 Feb - Item is sent and I mark it as posted
12 Feb - Buyer repeats correct address and says they still want it
12 Feb - Case is closed and ruled in buyer's favour - full refund including postage given back
Item is still in transit to WA - always a delay of a week or more from the eastern states.
I've opened an appeal, but this is just ridiculous. I've been dreading the day this unfair system was going to hit me.

Thanks, I've checked Etsy earlier this year and I don't think my car prints fit in. They are a bit too technical in my opinion.

Sorry Transport I was replying to Roseworthy's post. Still, costs you nothing to try. Other than 20c for a 4 month listing. Get worldwide traffic and great statistical info.

eBay have requested more time to look into my appeal on this case. The item has since been delivered after the usual east->west Australia Post delay. I am betting that the buyer isn't responding to their messages, since he never responded to my messages.
eBay have also sent me a 10% discount code for use on any item. I wonder if this is to stop me from feeling so annoyed with the MBG system.

eBay have re-ruled the case in my favour. I should get my money back in another 24 hours. A good result.

A month later I am still chasing up the money eBay said they returned to me. It hasn't been returned to me and they said it was an error on their part and they have manually processed it. A week later, it's nowhere to be seen. I am tired of having to chase this up!

ACCC - a copy of all the correspondence, notably the ones where they admit fault and promise reimbursement
