Just wondering about these dsr's.. and worrying..

I went from power seller to average joe, due mostly I think, ( poor cognition skills in understanding what they are talking about when a report wont show up) to cancelled transactions.

If I sell an item, and it's not correctly described, I post the item and give a full refund. and then cancel. In the past year I have perhaps done this about 8 times, and am wondering if that's what did it!

It is I that send the cancellation request letting the buyer know ( after already emailing them) that I missed a stain or a missing button or something and that I am sending a refund, and that a request to cancel the transaction will be coming, and ask they agree after they recieve their refund and item.

Is this what did it for me !

I am trying to do everything to keep the customer happy, to have a good ebay experience.

If this is the case, then the only option is to refund and send, but not put in the cancellation request, so still pay fees.

Am I right that it is the number of cancellations that has done this to me? I have done it to myself ? lol

Lizzy I fine tooth comb everything and still miss things from time to time.

I too usually post the goods, message the buyer and issue a full refund.

I don't send a cancellation request, and cop the fees as my own punishment Cat Embarassed

You shouldn't need to be refunding and cancelling if you take more time and list your items correctly. Yes I would say that all the cancelling has done it. If you cancel a sale and select anything other than the buyer requested to cancel option then it will show as a defect.
