Lame excuses from buyers.

Hi fellow sellers,

I had one of my items bid up to 50 dollars on my last lot of auctions on Sunday. Then I  got this in my inbox:

"Hello

I have been having some hacking problems on my laptop and wish to request a cancellation of this spurious bid.

Hopefully it will not be required , but just in case it is , please consider my "bid"
null and void."

I think this is one of the lamest excuses full stop. I thought it was Craig Thompson bidding on it.

I can understand ones account being hacked. But hacking a laptop then of all things opening up this weak individual's account and putting a 50 dollar bid on an item? But didn't cancel his 30 other auctions......

Personally I feel people like this peanut that welch on their bids get off far too easy.

They should get negative feedback left by an ebay CSO that is without emotion or fear or favour.

Well that's my 2 cents worth.

You are spot on there deja_vu. Its a pity when a disgruntled buyer or seller gets on here and provides ill-informed advice. I wont say its wrong advice but rather just biased or ill informed advice. Its even worse when they are corrected and they start to direct personal attacks on those whom provided constructive criticism or advise to the OP.

I'll take the slap.

Movie/thirdworld, you are full of it.

You really need to get yourself across the facts. It would also pay to work out that reinforcing our own erroneous assertions will not increase your credibility. Or even get you any.

I have just worked out what you are trying to say. You have misread the posts. Go baacck and read them again. You may then want to apply what you have just written to yourself.

Dont worry we all make mistakes. Even myself.

Dave hasn't misread anything & if he has, then I must have misread your posts as well ie you have ripped at gottabecareful at least 3 times on different threads when they have NOT posted anything wrong.

Good to see you've apologised ONCE to them-that's a start.

Yes you guys just keep banding together and removing the comments that show you up to be what you are and no doubt inthe end you will satisfy yourselves you are in the right. It appears none of you have anything better to do that to TROLL: the forums looking for someone to gang up on and then take the high road. pathetic really.
