Late shipment defects

I just looked at my seller dashboard and I have 7 late shipment defects,it is ticked as carrier says late not buyer.How does what the carrier says count as a defect.Five arrived within the time and two the buyers asked me not to post until they returned from holidays.

Can someone enlighten me to how this works.Thanks

the only problem is, buyers are constantly leaving, because sellers are leaving for getting punished, in turn resjulting in less money for ebays shareholders, itsa lmost like the opposite of what they are trying to do.

Actually the problem is a LOT has changed on eBay since 2016, when the comment you are responding to was made
