I haven't sold something on ebay for years but now want to sell an antique print that potential Scottish/English ebayers may want.
As I'm registered on ebay.com.au, is it possible to get the item listed on ebay.co.uk even though I'm based in Australia?
Thanks

There are certain requirements you have to meet to list overseas but as long as you do then all you have to do is log into the UK site to create your listing however you will have to state the item location as Australia, you will have to quote flat rate postage and you will receive your payment in GBP no matter where the buyer is from. You will also be selling under the UK buyer/seller protection rules where you have to have on line proof of delivery, not just of having posted as you do for Au Paypal protection.
I actually think you would have more luck targetting the Australian or US market as there will be far fewer pictures like that available than there are here in the UK. Unless it is a well know artist you can pick up original paintings of highland cattle, stags at bay and men in sirts etc for next to nothing at every second hand shop, op shop and car boot sale.
First thing I would do is a completed item search on the UK site to see haw many similar paintings are listed, how many sold and what they went for.

Thanks. I wanted to list it on the UK site as it's an antique print/cartoon (circa 1807) depicting lots of Scotsmen invading the then House of Commons (St Stevens).
The same print is in the British Museum and with the Scottish Independance vote coming up I thought someone may like it. Here it is here:
I think there will be more interest in it in the UK rather than selling it locally so I might go ahead and see if I can list it on the UK site.
