Hello,
Just looked at my current DSR's today and I got a 1 for communication.
I don't understand how someone could leave a low star for communication.
Ebay sends out all the auto emails, where they prefer you not to send your own personal messages to the buyers.
I have positive feedback, but would prefer to at least know where I could or if I could improve in that area.
At the moment I send most buyers a message after I post their items, which I generally get a "thank you" from the buyers.
Since ebay is sending out their owns emails, and I too message the buyers when posted. How can I still get low DSR's in communication??
Should I change what I am currently doing? Or am I being to picky?
Cheers

The automatic emails have nothing to do with it....the criteria is DIRECT communication between the buyer and the seller.
There are also something about shipping time and something else involved too, but as I am not a seller I really cannot give you any more information.
I very rarely have any communication with sellers as I do not bother with listings that do not give all the information I require.
If the criteria was only No Direct Communication then 90% of my sellers would be automatic 5 stars. As it is, there are very few auto 5 stars for communication when I leave feedback.

Talking about low DSRs. I have just received a low DSR for item not as described because the buyer thought it was actually better than the description! I know because they told me - they thought they were doing me a huge favour by giving me a low DSR because they thought they were giving me a compliment! OMG! The wording and function of the DSRs is too ambiguous!
