Make "Buy It Now" listing visible only to those with link

I am using eBay to sell specialized technical products that I promote through my own site and other sites. I do not want the listing to be seen by the general public because I want to sell only to those who know what the item is and have already seen the information and documentation on my site. The "buy" link on my site would take buyers to the otherwise non-public eBay listing to complete the purchase. Is there a way to do this? Is the "Private " option the way to do it?

Thanks,

Todd

You're selling electronic items that are available at any electronics shop. It's not like you're selling adult toys where you may want to restrict who can see them. You're in the wrong market place to do what you want to do. I know what most of your items are. I don't want to buy them though. Even if I did, I wouldn't buy them from you, because I know for a fact I can get them locally.

If you want to restrict who can see your items, post them on the Dark Web. Most people don't know how to access that.

"I want to sell only to those who know what the item is " Honest question, if the item has a possibility for high returns or issues, don't sell on ebay sell on another platform at least you get to have your say there, use thing like Sh*fy to process your payments.

Since when do ebay control shipping? This isn't the A site that ships from their warehouse. Maybe it's different in Murica?

I'm still puzzled as to why the OP wants the items hidden. Surely if someone didn't know what the item was, they're not going to buy it! I would think the only people who would click on them are those that know what they are wanting to buy. You're not going to get some random buying second hand clothing, suddenly deciding to buy a motherboard and not even know what a motherboard is. Crazy!

My head hurts trying to work it out.
