Hi guys, has anyone else been affected by increased wait times for eBay sales funds to come across to your Bank accounts? It used to be 18 - 24 hours with PayPal - now seems to be taking DAYS?

It is infact true because for you to get funds on a Monday then you must have sold on the thursday prior,
This is for daily payouts.

Yes this for daily payouts.
Items sold on Friday I receive into my bank Monday afternoon.
For items sold on Saturday and Sunday, I receive payment into my bank Tuesday afternoon.
First time I haven't received my Friday payment except for when Monday is a public holiday.

This new system is an abomination. PayPal was far superior. This new system is a joke. We need our cash flow. I’ve got money available today (AM), and it won’t be paid till Friday, which will mean Monday. Five days to get paid. What a load of rubbish. It’s like the banking system from 20 years ago. EBay, get your act together!

I love the message eBay sends me when a buyer has paid. “You’ve been paid, now send the item” (or words to that effect).
Ahhh no eBay, you have been paid, I have not received the funds as yet! I’m also thrilled that if I would like my money pronto, you will charge me a yet another fee of 2.5% (I think). With PayPal, funds were pretty much in my bank the same afternoon or next business day.
just getting greedier eBay!

Glad I'm not (yet) on Managed Payments and can withdraw from PayPal right now and get my money on Monday or Tuesday instead of stuffing around for a week, especially with the forced Easter shutdown around the corner.

It’s appalling. Three to four days to get paid. Funds taking days to get processed into your available balance. Most sellers heavily rely on cash flow, and this new system has killed it.

You need to budget the way any business model would.
So okay, the initial start of payments will have made you wait, but once you are over the initial period you should receive a regular payment weekly or daily, however you set it up.
I can't understand how sellers can not afford postage for items until they get paid - all businesses run a petty cash holding account for things like that.
If you wait until you get your money from Adyen before you post then I don't like the chances of your performacce being judged well by your buyers.

My feedback is excellent, no complaints about late shipping. Payments are not made daily. You can request a daily payout, but Ebay is taking days to process the payment into your available funds account, before it is processed. It has nothing to do with budgeting, and everything to do with poor management from Ebay. If I can sell something during the day, and receive the funds the next day with PayPal, then there is no reason EBay could not replicate that model themselves.

There is. And that is that eBay don't actually provide a 'bank' like Paypal do. The correct analogy is the time it takes to get funds from Paypal into your bank.
MY MP payments, because I don't live on the breadline, are scheduled every Wednesday. I get a notification on TUESDAY morning that my payment has been processed. On Tuesday evening my payment is in my account. Same day service.
And as kat said, the initial week is the only one where you are carrying postage costs.

Anyone else not received payment today?
