Mega weekends list and sell for $1 - does everyone get this offer?

Every Saturday I get a notiication from eBay about the Mega Weekends where you can list and sell for only $1.

When I try and accept the offer I get this message -

                  Unfortunately, this promotional offer is by invitation only

Is the offer available to everyone? or only selected sellers. I can't find anything in the T&Cs about who is eligible.

I haven't been getting the email from eBay recently (I used to), but the offer is still available to me (in addition to the 40 free listings) every weekend on my Selling Page. My seller level is Above Standard

I also seem to be getting an offer each weekend but I need to look in promo's. No emails.

Funny, I had the $1 fvf a few weeks ago and thought I may as well use it so relisted some items, all selling around $10.

Then it hit me, I just wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed that day.

My emails have been going to spam for the last month. Chrome - medium security.

I just check in 'my selling' every Saturday morning to see if it's available.

I have not had this promotion since last April. Waste of time ringing the helpless desk they say it's only for Random selected sellers and you  are not one of the chosen one's. No Rhyme or Reason should be All or none. Typical Feebay attitude to honest questions. They say they will refer the non availabity to you to the promotional department where you should then be given it all that seems to do is ensure you Never get them.

Might want to check selling page today. Recvd email offering free listing plus free fvf until 7 Feb.

Not only do I get the 'free' listing & FVF deal on weekends;  I sometimes receive it mid-week too.  For instance this week I had free listings from Monday through to Thursday midnight.   In fact I was starting to wonder what is the point of Ebay having any fees at all! 

And for everyone else's info - sometimes it is zero fees, sometimes 75% off, and sometimes a blanket $1. 

The FVF deal, I have recently found out, only applies when the item sells during that listing period.  It doesn't carry over to re-listings, automatic or otherwise.

List and sell for $1 is fantastic  sold a bundle and only paid  $1 per listing.  Even  $3 was good.

Sounds like if I get the notification then I should be able to accept the offer. Will try calling eBay and see what they say.

If you received the offer through your email there will be a link to an acceptance page.

If you are seeing the offer elsewhere, or are not provided with a personal link to use, then all you are seeing is eBay marketing hype.

If the first sentence applies to you then contact eBay as it may be another of their frequent glitches.

If you do take an offer like this up for BIN listings you must remember that the listing will be GTC and will roll over in 31 days at standard cost and standard FVF unless you cancel manually beforehand.

Dazzle, old thread, old promotion. This promo is dead. There is a new $1.10 one, but that is strictly invite only. Some get it, some don't. One of my accounts isn't getting it, yet the other 2 are.
