Need some advice on how to handle this Buyer.
I listed an Item Auction Style for a period of 7 days, Buyer bid on the item 2 days later & won, she then sent me a message stating the following…”really sorry I entered the wrong bid. Could you please cancel my transaction? Sorry for the trouble”.
As I have already been charged final value fees for the item, how do I ensure I receive a credit for the fees?
I’ve been selling in ebay for since 2002 & have never received a ‘request like this. Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated.

There are several threads on this topic recently; the consensus from sellers says that you should go ahead with a non payment dispute - see in particular Kopenhagen's sample in my post here:

Dear xxxxxxx
Sure, no problem. I understand you would prefer to cancel your purchase.
The method I use for closing a transaction is to follow the case procedure through ebay, hence you will still have the opportunity to purchase by paying within 4 days. Should you still wish to cancel the transaction, simply ignore the case and I shall close it on day 4. This then ensures that my ebay fees are credited back to my account. Thank you for your understanding.
Kind regards,
Open a non paying case, this way buyer gets a strike against their account and you are ensured of getting fees back.
If you send a cancellation he may not tick it and you will need to wait 7 days anyway before it's cancelled and you can relist. If he ticks non acceptance, you don't get the fees back and you can no longer open a case.

No matter how stupid you think the buyer's reason to cancel order, it's better to just cancel on customer's request and relist the item and move on.
I don't do auction, but I guess the process is the same.
On seller hub in awating payment, click on the drop down menu where it says 'print postage label' select the 'cancel the order' option.
Alternatively, if that first option doesn't allow you to, use this link: http://res.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?CreateDispute&DisputeReason=2&ItemNumber=161447312765, enter in listing number and then choose the buyer ID then cancel order.
The first option will just cancel the order to get credit, the later will required buyer to 'accept' the cancellation, which if not accepted after some time, you will need to close it with 'no response from buyer' option. Usually appear here https://res.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ResolutionCenter&hc=1&hm=vo%7B54*2250752 as action required by you in around 7 days.

And as mentioned, if the buyer refuses the request, for whatever reason, the seller loses their fees. Best to go the non payment route. It might teach them to be more careful int he future before bidding.
