I see we have another poll re sellers being able to leave negative feedback. What is the point?
As we can automatically block bidders with 2 or more non paying strikes I would also like to be able to block those serial buyers who continually have items go missing. 2 or more in 12 months, same as non payers.
Also it would be interesting for sellers to be able to rate buyers on their payment attitude. 1 to 5 same as our seller DSR's.
5 for instant payment down to 1 for non payment
You never know. One day I might even see a flying pig:^O

My case rests?

As a seller, I haven't had a non-payer for years. I'm not sure why, but it's been good!
As a buyer, I'm glad that shonky sellers are no longer able to extort me with bad feedback and I'm grateful that PayPal gets my money back when I'm ripped off -- which has happened to me twice this year.

Super-nova
Please read the original post again.
It reads I, the operative again is I, would like to be able to block etc.
Nowhere does it mention anyone else.
Also it is not mandatory to block bidders with 2 unpaid strikes, it is up to the individual

Copy and paste from your OP, notoneofthosedays:
"I would also like to be able to block those serial buyers who continually have items go missing. 2 or more in 12 months, same as non payers."
So what you are saying is that you would like to be able to do that, but nobody else? ?:|
It does not matter that would not be mandatory, it would be possible to block people who were unlucky not to receive 2 items in a year.
Anyway, eBay will never do that. As I said if reports are made to AP, anybody who repeatedly claims their parcels are not being received may be charged by fraud. But AP are the only ones who can establish what is going on.

So you would rather have an unsold item than accept a bid from a buyer who had the misfortune to buy from 3 carp sellers who either didn't deliver or sent something not as described?
The only advantage I can see in a system that allowed such a thing is that I would not be able to purchase from you!
