New Item Sold email not as good as old one

Is everyone else now getting a different format for the 'Item Sold' email? I find this new one to be less informative. There's no buyer's name and a few other things have changed. Is everyone else now getting this new type of email?

yes, I had a previous thread on this - contacted ebay and they denied there was any change

after a few days, it reverted back to the old style.

Hi

Did you do anything to get the email changed back to the old one? Or did it just happen by itself? Can you provide the link to your other thread?

Thanks

I didn't do anything other than contact ebay,  it just changed by itself.

Mine is like yours.....you now have to click on 'send invoice' to get any details....another step in the process 😞

That happened to me for a while last year and it changed back all by itself.

Mine haven't changed. It has buyers username, real name, address, the item they bought, what they paid and when they bought it. That was as late as last night.

Same here.  1 year ago the email changed showing absolutely no info except to say in subject line what sold..  Its a cr*p shoot as to what email I receive, sometimes I get info sometimes nothing.  Its just ebay being ebay and denying anything is different - ignorance is bliss.

Re: New Item Sold email not as good as old one

It happened to me about a year ago and then changed back to the normal (informative) email again a week or so later. Hasn't happened since and mine are currently still showing all the info. I came to forums then and asked and found a few other 'sufferers'.  I was lucky that it changed back. It only happend on this ID and not my other. Perhaps it's your turn for an ebay glitch lol!

It's a total pain in the *#! because you can't see at a glance where the buyer is located - important for sending invoices (especially if it's overseas). I wish you luck that the ebay glitch (curse) will be lifted soon 🙂
