No one has started a "my sales are dead" post for a few days so I thought I'd keep the tradition going.
Anyone else suffering from a run of "lights out" at the moment? My website shop is also similarly dead. Maybe it's the time of year or maybe it's just me. How are you going?

We usually have pleasant discussions on here and help each other. What I hate are people who post here with the intent of starting trouble.

We have see about a 30% drop off in our two accounts this month...Which is ironic as our items listed has probably gone up 30% compared to last year.
Does anyone else see the numbers dropped on a montly basis around the time your fees are due to be paid for about 48-72 hours?

Have you considered that many millions of dollars of discretionary income (which would be the bulk of eBay sales) have been donated to bushfire appeals? Or that this time of the year is traditionally slow due to people paying off Christmas purchases and school costs rather than spending of fripperies?

Geez Dave you should step outside your house a little bit more often. PLENTY of money exchanging hands in retail stores in Sydney daily. Bushfire appeal? Seriously? Christmas hangovers? You certainly have no idea about anything related to making money...Kudos to that!

If you knew Dave as I do you would realise how stupid your remarks are. You certainly picked the wrong poster to address those remark to.

I don't live in Sydney, nor do 83% of the population.
Are they exchanging money for fripperies, or necessities?
I have a rough idea about how to make money online. I've even had more than one transaction on this ID in the last year.

January was dead which is usual with folks away and holiday pay exhausted. Christmas credit card bills landing and consumer discretionary funds steered to bush fire appeals, not to mention the folks fighting fires and the ones who lost houses and possessions in south east Australia...
The up side of the fires will bring triple 'R' down the track. Rebuilding - Replacement - Renewal courtesy of Government spending and insurance company payouts.
Come February though with return to work and first pay packets and our sales are back to normal.
