Ebay is severely broken as a selling tool.
Almost 40% of my listings end with a non paying bidder.
As a seller I can't leave negative feedback and non paid item strikes act as no detternt to these people. Im hard pressed trying to see where these strikes appear on their profiles anyway. Lots of buyers never leave feedback anyway so the whole system is a joke.
Unpaid item cases mean that my item is lost in the void for eight days whilst a case is open. 99% of these end in non payment.
Im loosing money as by the time the case is resolved. the second highest bidder has usually bought a simlair item somewhere else.
I know Ebay has to look after buyers, but without equal treatment for sellers. There will be no items for anyone to purchase.

I am not a seller so I have no idea about that side of ebay, but just out of curiosity can someone tell me when a buyer bids on an item can the seller see the bidders buying history and feedback history before the end of the auction ?.
I have nothing to hide from anyone with my ebay history but I am just curious after reading about the problems some sellers have dealing with some buyers.
I would just like to assure the sellers if you come across me you don't ever have to worry about me causing you any problems .
I never bid on anything that I can't afford to pay for , I never bid and refuse to pay , I always pay the account in full as soon as I see I have won the auction and that could be anywhere between a minute and maybe an hour or two plus I always leave feedback for the seller as soon as I receive the item and everything is ok.
I wish all the sellers problem free selling and the buyers I hope you are all winners in the auctions .

the seller can see the buyers id just like you see my id now by clicking on it, the seller cant see what the buyers max bid is tho.
for instance i can see your feedback by clicking on you but i cant see what you have brought. as yours are not showing.
but there is a program out there that people use and can see what you have brought tho

as joe posted, all bidder IDs show on the list of bids on an item for the seller. The seller only has to click on the bidder ID to see the feedback page, which also lets sellers see the feedback that the bidder has left for others. If a bidder has a tendency to leave lots of negs and neutrals the seller may choose to cancel the bidder's bid and put them on their Blocked Bidder List.
When a bidder bids only once by a snipe bid, either manual or by a snipe service, the seller has no time to be checking the bidder feedback history or cancelling bids.
There is a website that lets users input an eBay ID and find out the recent purchases of the eBayer. That site has many other functions as well such as letting you find out how many members have an item on their watch list (some conditions apply). I would put the name of this outside website here . . . . . but got a bit of a caning last time I did so.
So, I have sent the name of the site to you by Private Message (PM). Just beside your ID at the top of this page is a link for 'Messages'. Click that link when there is a number in the box beside it to indicate that you have a Private Message.

Really? ......... watchcount and toolhaus can be found mentioned on the boards by 'searching' for the terms. It's often mentioned in threads. Some comments are scrutinized more than others.

With all due respect joe, they are not hacking programs, they are perfectly legal information supplying websites.

Hacking program? Good grief, now I've heard it all. For a start, they are not "programs", they are websites. You gloat about having read every law book in the country, so maybe you should become versed in the difference between a legal website and hacking.

It's been proven that when consequences are removed from a bad action, there is an immediate increase in that action.
Remove the punishment and abuse of the system will follow.
Ebay doesn't care if sellers are inconvenienced.
That said, I get very few nPB's.
However....
Sales drop dramatically anytime I'm not uploading a new listing(s) for a few days, and the longer I go, the less sales I have.
