I dont understand how we can leave neg feedback for nonpayers? It looks like as a seller, i can only leave positive feedback so how do we warn each other of non payers and if there's no way to leave negative non payer feedback, what is going to stop buyers from bidding-winning-not paying?? Help?

You can't leave buyers negative feedback.

The current system requires sellers to go through the unpaid item dispute process and issue buyers with a strike (this is not visible to any member), and you can set your preferences to block any buyer with more than strike.

Warning other sellers about individual non-payers doesn't work as well as individual sellers preventing all non-payers from buying in the first place.

Open the dipsute after 4 days and if they still have not paid 4 days later close the dispute and add them to your BBL.

Then put in place the blocks to stop non payers with more than 1 strike in a 12 month period.

To put these blocks in place hover your mouse over account in your my ebay page and from the drop down click on Site Preferences then go down the list till you see Buyer requirements and to the right of that click on show then click on edit. From there you can put in place the blocks you want, to stop those you want to block from purchasing from you

Sellers have not been able to leave anything except positives for buyers for 5 years.

There needs to be a separate board for this topic

There's no such thing as a bad buyer !!!!!  or is there ??? well not as far as eBay wants to let other sellers know. Just remember sellers go to where the buyers are, not the other way round.

I just got caught on some  tickets that I sold the other day,I only wanted what the tickets were worth but some one bid on these tickets to accessive amounts and won the bid ,but I when I contact him on the number he emailed me he said he did not bid on theses, but I  was not able to resell as he still had two days left to pay for these.

Ps. he tried to buy these before  the auction finished on a different account with the same mobile Number

So I lost $300.00

If you wish to recover only the face value of the tickets, an auction listing is not really the best method.

If time is an issue, put them up as a short-term BIN (3-5 days) at face value and I bet they sell almost immediately. ๐Ÿ˜‰

It is amazing the number of people out there that just do not care. In your case it was very costly.

As to part of the original post - we should be able to leave negative feedback most sellers want this option, why ebay

won't listen is curious.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away, and you have their shoes too.
