Non paying ebayers

I've had heaps of problems with buyers not paying. I've really had enough because they don't even have the common courtesy to let me know they've changed their mind. Some of them even bid on multiple items and still don't pay. There are other bidders that would have paid and it just wastes my time because then I can't try to sell it again until the unpaid item case is closed. It costs me money to list the item so it's really frustrating. Does anyone have any tips? I don't feel like I should have to put 'serious bidders only' in my listings as I think that goes without saying...

and personally i would not go blocking buyers, we were all new to eBay at some stage and have no feedback

You cannot block buyers just because they are new, but you can block those who have low FB & are not phone verified; that weeds out those who open ID only to disrupt people's auctions.

mens choice - please do some general eBay research before you post advice here.

1. Pay mmediately is not a good option for most sellers - it really puts a lot of buyers off.

2. A seller can quote what ever time he/she wants for payment to be made, but you can not enforce it in any way as eBay allows 4 days minimum before a dispute can be opened.

3. All sellers should have blocks inplace - for bidders with strikes, not phone verified etc.

OP - if you have no response or payment withi 7 days open a NPB dispute, follow through and buyer will either pay ot not pay in which case you will get your fvf back and buyer will get a strike.

you cannot block "new" ebayers and blocking low FB is exactly the same thing. Think about what you just said seriously "New people have no FB or "Low" FB hmm

Funny how I have transcripts from customer service on the topic if any one wants, feel free to contact me and I will send a copy to you.

Now if I pay for the correct stamps and I pay for the correct packaging to send my items in.

Who pays for me to handle the item eBay?

This is what I discussed at length with eBay customer service.

Packaging is not cheap now days nor is staff wages i.e for handling of the items.

Now two people whom I will let remain nameless in(this) my comment they know who they are.

One has private feedback (against eBay’s advised show feedback to build trust section)

And one whom has feedback for nothing other than buying.

Question, do you believe in eBay forum Trolls?

Personally I believe every site has Trolls.

Another Question how the hell is eBay ever going to know exactly how much you spend on packaging (including postage & HANDLING) how is eBay ever going to know that I do or do not spend the full amount on packaging making my product as discreet as possible considering what I sell.

And if eBay does have fixed shipping limits this raises two questions.

Should the shipping not be linked to the buy it now price?

Or should they not have asked us to enter how much we want for the item before insertion so they can calculate shipping for us so it is what eBay expects?

I read the policies and it is all confusing which is why I have evidence from customer service in transcripts if any one would like to see them, because I done the smart thing and asked eBay customer service when I found that the policy was not making sense to me.
