Why travel all the way to an OfficeWorks store to buy packaging or lodge items when you can travel to a Post Office and do the same thing, plus buy Australia Post's overpriced stationery !

Re: Officeworks Mailman closing on 6th July, get your refund now

I must be lucky, my closest Officeworks is 200 metres away from the post office.

Now, if Officeworks could team up with Australia Post instead, we might actually have a half-decent, modern version of a post office with useful trading hours 7 days a week. Of course though, Officeworks would then have to stock a few AP-branded things (in addition to the much cheaper PPS versions) so we don't get gouged on postage for heavy-but small items which still go at the old weight-based prices, and would probably need a pair of red and yellow boxes out the front (these are becoming hard to find lately, AP keeps removing them from the streets).
