??     Message makes little sense to me.

No-one from ebay reads these boards.

This is a member to member forum.

If you are wanting the 30c flagfall to be refunded, it won't happen.

It is non-refundable.

Still trying to understand message....

Did you cancel the order to get your fees refunded, before relisting?

Cancel using 'problem with buyer's address' will see fees refunded, leaving no defect to your account, but minus the 30c flagfall.

Did you cancel because the buyer was unable to pick it up? If this is the case, you probably used "problem with buyer's address" as a reason, which means you only lose 30c, as already said.

I'm betting you're not happy ebay charged you the 30c when the cancellation wasn't your fault, it was a buyer issue.

You're right in that it is unfair you're out of pocket for no fault of your own. It is a pity ebay can't deduct 30c from the buyer's payment but the thing is, some buyers don't pay in the first place and if there is one party in this whole thing who is not going to lose out if it can be helped, it is ebay.

So someone will always have to pay for that 30c non refundable bit and that someone is the seller.

It's no use contacting ebay chat either. I know someone who did that, just because they were annoyed with an ebay refund too, but 45 minutes later they got exactly nowhere as far as the 30c bit went. They did get reimbursed for the actual sale though, which was a win.

This is just a messageboard. Sort of like facebook posts. We are not ebay workers, we're random readers.

You've got 2 choices-you can message ebay itself with your complaint or you can ring chat and vent but either way, your 30c is long gone and you won't see it again. Sorry.
