Hi all,
I am about to post off a parcel to Qld which my husband sold under his own ID and the only address I have is a Post Office Box. We checked the winner's details and they only have a PO Box.
I was under the impression that it had to be a street address for parcels to be delivered and if not that Paypal does not cover any losses.
Could someone please confirm for me before I send.
Many thanks,
Di

A card will be left in a PO Box for the buyer to take to the Post Office and collect their parcel.
Some people (like myself) don't have mail delivery to their homes so a PO Box is the only option .

as long as you are sending with Australia Post (not a courier/freight agent), YES YOU CAN send to a PO box. they deliver to the po and the buyer gets a little card in their box to say there is an item inside the PO awaiting collection.

Delivery by Courier is different as they will deliver to the home address .In that case you would need a Street address.

Sorry Putney, I didn't see your post

PO Box is actually even better as there can never be someone 'not at home' and the card left can never 'blow away' 🙂
