I am sick of people complaining about why postage is so high, I dont even charge people for the box or buble wrap, and sometimes I even send items with out insurance to make it cheaper. Buyers should get over it, I agree postage prices are high and are likely to get worse, but lay off the seller and go and rant some where else......

I agree wholeheartedly. I wonder if the ranters think that by ranting it's going to change anything? The ones that get me are the sellers that try to calculate absolutely everything into the postage price.....box, bubble wrap, beans (all those are fair enough), but then want to add in their time for waiting for an auction to finish, their time for waiting for someone to pay, their exact petrol costs plus time to go to the post office, probably the cost of the washing powder that washed the clothes they wore that day, the cost of meals while they were waiting. I saw someone mention that their time was worth $50/hr! Is that person going to charge someone $40 postage on a small parcel because it takes them 15 minutes each way to go the PO, plus the fuel factored in and other expenses relating to the sale? Good luck trying to sell anything!
As for boxes and stuff, I've made enough purchases in the past where I saved the boxes, bubble wrap, peanuts, etc whereby at this stage, I've never had to fork out a cent to post a small parcel. I guess at this stage I'm lucky in that respect. A few months ago I bought a box of 200, 00 sized padded bags for $15. I don't charge for those. I can't see the point in adding a few cents extra for them. I've made my $15 back (and more) with bidding wars between low feedback buyers paying far more than the item was worth (who all paid by the way)!

What I do find amusing, is all the buyers who complain about seller postage fees - until it comes time for the buyer to send an item back for refund, then all of a sudden, the postal charges at AP seem extrememly unfair.
