Re: Parcel sent in handling time

Sent inside your handling time is certainly the key as Dave has said.
But in order to avoid any late delivery defects you need to be able to prove when you sent it.
The key to this is to lodge over the counter and get that all important lodgement scan event recorded.
Don't drop it into a red street box as the scan will not happen.
Once you have this then the actual delivery date no longer affects you and you therefore don't have to worry about it.

Re: Parcel sent in handling time

The key is - Parcel sent in handling time

What happens after that is not in your nor your buyer's control. And why do you care? Don't sweat the small stuff.

Remembering that how you look at it is dependent on whether or not you use your selling account to view.

But given AP quote 2-7 business days for everything anywhere, eBay's estimate would certainly be aligned with that.

Because ebay estimates have no basis in reality most of the time.

The unethical aspect of this is that even on Ebays sign in page, as well as on the satchels themselves, is a promo showing this as exactly what you should do.

The wide estimate range is to provide a bit of hopeful marketing (without promising anything) to the buyer. After all even though buyer selects regular post seller might just express it, so its not impossible.. The latest date "should" at least be in alignment with AP. Becareful that any estimates you check are not using your own location eg that given on your listing when you look at it. Use that on order details once sold.
