Anyone else having problems logging into Pay Pal website?
The https has turned red and the browser wont load , either goggle or chrome , saying the internet connection has been compromised.
Very weird , been like this since yesterday and I cant seem to fix it?
Never ever had a problem before with it in over 10 years.

Problem Solved !!!!
After much success and then failure over the last few weeks. Doing my head in stuff
Would work, not work , work, not work.
Tried everything under the sun , to fix the problem.
Turns out the router my son connected to the 3 home computers also runs wireless as well , and I / we didnt know.
Had no lock on it so half the neighbourhood been hacking in for free Wi Fi the last 6 months and I never knew. lol.
Thats what was spazzing the server connection to Pay Pal out , Wi Fi log in, and to think of the arguments we had over my son useing up all the months data within 2 weeks , hammering him as a selfish you know what , lol.
Non Wi Fi cable router , no probs , everyones happy

All you had to do was log into your router and password it to make it secure. When I first went aDSL, I didn't have a password on mine because I thought I had to put the password in every time I wanted to use it. Turns out that wasn't the case.
Given that half the neighbourhood has been accessing your unsecured router, first thing I'd be doing is changing all your passwords, especially net banking (which you should do regularly anyway). It may not just have been the neighbours using your connection. You'd be surprised how far away someone can be and use your connection with ease. My brother used to own an ISP and his best friend who lived 2 doors up across the road used to use his connection with no problems at all.

Now you tell me lol,
Nah , Its all good and taken care of , nothing compromised .
I sent my son to buy and install the new router , I never checked nor looked at it .
Neither did he ? Teenagers Thesedays.
Is all good
But boy did I bust his **bleep** monthly , I find it funny now.
" It wasnt me " Sure !
A trap for the Unwary for Sure.

Just for the future, wifi connections through your router can be limited by the MAC addresses of your PC, mobiles, tablets.
MAC = Media Access Control
it is a unique identifier for the device. The router then has a list of the MAC addresses of allowed devices, once you enter them, and will block access by anything not on the list. Like a doorman at a club 🙂
another layer of security to prevent unauthorised use by others 🙂
