anyway does anyone use Paymate is it any good just want some

No buyer in their right mind will use Paymate. If they do have to make a claim it costs $50 and they can only make a limited number in a year.

How did you lose $500 because of paypal?
on โ08-08-2012 11:54 PM
well its a long story ill cut it short
sold 3 items on ebay equalling $500
next week my PP acc gets limited out of nowere
i apeal for it and provide every single document needed
next day it now sais This limitation cannot be appealed against
i ring up pp they thank me for providing the documents
i ask them why its still limited when iv resolved everything
they now tell me theres a risk ascociated with my acc ?
now i have to wait 180 days to be able to take out the $500
its complete bs ohnestly why dont they give my money back now? because they make an interest from MY money.
"risk" is just an excuse,
i provided paypal with all tracking id's of all the items sold, all have been shipped, customers are happy, no disputes and this happens out of nowere.

If the buyers have received their items and left feedback for them I would ring paypal and tell them so.
Paypal can hold money if there is any fear that there may be a problem but it is usually released when the buyers indicate they have the goods.
If they refuse to release the funds you could try mentioning the Ombudsman....I believe it can be magic for releasing/refunding money that is on hold.

lyndal
iv already provided them with the tracking id's and told them
its very strange this has happened since the buyers have had no complaints with the goods.
first i thought it was normal my account getting limited since i did 3 rapid sales and thought meh account is limited and its just asking for tracking numbers, card details ect.
right after i completed all the fields i log in the next day it now tells me i cannot apeal against the limit, basically no matter what i do now i cant resolve the issue, they wont even tell me what the risk they see is, and rudely they told me if i want to withdraw the money from my account any sooner ill have to summon there department to court or something.
also im unfamiliar with this Ombudsman ?

The Financial Ombudsman Service.
Tell Paypal, politely, that you do not agree with their decision, as you have provided the information they require and that should be the end of it.
If the person you talk to is uncooperative insist on talking to a supervisor. If still no joy, mention that you are unhappy with the result and if your funds aren't released within 24 hours you will have no choice but to take the matter to the FOS.

it could have something to do with the high priced items you have been selling. New seller selling 4 samsung phones with three of the phones selling for more than $600, an iPod and other items in a very short period of time. Your activity may have been 'flagged' by PayPal as risky.
PayPal is a business, they have to protect their interests as well as their customers interests. That does include you and your buyers. I think you are fortunate that they have only frozen $500. They haven't cost you $500, they are just taking precautions.
