Just spoke to Customer Service Paypal after discovering no record of a recent sale in my account, despite receiving an official Paypal confirmation email (though with invalid transaction ID) and despite eBay marking the item as paid.
They told me to send the email to phishing, but then called me back 5 mins later to say they are aware of a bug that started around midnight AEST ago (it was infact several hours earlier than this as my problem payment happened almost 24 hours ago). Not only are some transactions not appearing in accounts, but there's an issue with incorrect fees being deducted. If you're a seller you'll want to check your recent transactions.
I was told the issue would be fixed in 24-48 hours and that something would appear on the Paypal website soon, although I'm not seeing anything yet.

BTW does Paypal have a community forum?
And how do I get to eBay's forum (i.e. this place) now they've changed the menus? I have to keep googling for it.

Same thing has happened to one of my transactions. Got the usual email confirmation but when you click on the transaction ID it shows as invalid. Also my balance is only reflecting about 2/3 of the sale price, they assured me it would be fixed today and it was showing as a 'partial payment' on their end, very weird.

Any page except the main page, it seems! When I go to ebay.com.au, there is no bottom of the page because it endlessly loads up more listings like Pinterest.

My payment has eventually come through today, dated 11th which is when the payment was originally made.
The Paypal rep warned the fees might be wrong and indeed they are: they deducted 25% of the sale price!!
And I can't find anything on the Paypal website about this although the rep said they would be putting something up.
