Buyer bought and paid for an item that is pick up only. I contacted them with the location and phone number. No reply so after a week I sent a reminder, still no answer.I thought I would allow another week making two weeks since purchase. My query, what is a reasonable time to allow for no communication before I cancell the sale and refund the payment? Patricia.

Pats_treasures, you say that you "contacted them". Was this via message?
You may want to contact the buyer by phone. I know that eBay messages have been ridiculously slow of late, and it's just possible that the buyer has not been receiving your messages.
I believe you should have the buyer's phone number from the order details, yes? If not, use the Find contact information link, give the buyer a call, and explain that you've attempted to contact them over the last 2 weeks to arrange a time for them to pick up the item. I agree that you would be best off giving a deadline as you cannot hold the items indefinitely.

It's more likely they've just changed their mind and don't want it though.
Yes, there is always a warning not to include contact details, although sometimes when an item is late sellers (mostly Chinese sellers) ask if the address is correct and include my address in their reply.
However it is strange if the buyer didn't hear from the seller that they didn't try to contact the seller themselves if they really wanted the item. I mean, if I bought a pick-up-only item I would message the seller soon after paying to ask what to do next...
