Dear Ebay,
I have noticed that there are many sellers on ebay selling alcohol on ebay. Seems to be the go is to write down a fake liquor license number on their listing and it will make the sale. This seems to be quite a common practice as I can point out many cases already.
What I suggest to Ebay is that any sale of alcohol on this website should cease because Ebay is clearly not checking valid liquor license numbers. I also will report these activities to the appropriate Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation in all states and I will have them investigate the activities that are allowed to take place on Ebay.
Enough is enough of these slopy practices .......
These bottles could already be in children's hands..........

no not at all I can clearly see an error in the application of a policy. You can easily sell alcohol on ebay without providing a current liquor license then there is an error in the system...
At the moment there are people on ebay providing a license which does not exist or is under copy right or fraud laws and get through to final sale of the auction therefore this is fraud. To sell alcohol you need this license thats the policy ......I will be ringing the authorities on monday....... if you want make sly remarks about this issue then go ahead the facts and proof etc is there this will be followed up

The only sly remark I have seen so far is your comment:
you doin alright out of it ......
As someone pointed out, Ebay do not monitor these boards, so complaining here isn't going to acheive anything - especially if you are going to accuse posters here of having a vested interest in the illegality.
Reporting the listings to Ebay and informing the authorities will be far more effective.

the you doin alright about was in regards to saying "
if it means that much to you just report the listing
what are you hoping to achieve by starting a thread on CS about it?
other than getting mugs all excited "

What 'profound' remarks? We have already explained to you why posting about this on CS is pointless and given you advice which it appears you are going to take. What more did you want from us?

I doubt very much whether the 'crooks' even read the boards, let alone post on them.
