Hello Everyone,
Could someone please help me in the best way to send 500gsatchel from Newcastle to dDarwin 0800 in the quickest time.
The item ends on Monday 24/8/15 the buyer if they win want it by 28/8/15 as they are going overseas.
I'm not sure if Aus post would get it there by express post by then, any help would be appreciated.
The buyer said they would pay for overnight satchel is this possible ?
Is there another service I can use as I have no idea the best way to go.

I would be very wary of trying to get any item to NSW quickly by Express post or otherwise.
In the last two weeks I have had 2 items get stuck at Chullora NSW Sorting Centre and spend a week bouncing back to Qld and NSW.
The Tracking confirms it was scanned on 3 separate dates at Chullora.
It spent 10 days there.
Thank goodness I had two very patient Buyers.

I sent a parcel registered post last week to 0800 and it took 6 days to get there from a bit further away than yourself, express post usually takes only 2 to 3 days if posted on the morning run if nothing goes wrong that is.

I have just checked the Express Post Network for Overnight Delivery and I can't see Darwin anywhere.
It might be worth giving them a call to check that Darwin is part of their Network. I have always found them very helpful.

Are you expecting a bidding war on the item?
If not, and you are happy with the price, you can always end the item to sell to the highest bidder.
That way you could get the item on its way to the buyer immediately.

Hi Lyndal, how do you end the item early and would I end up with a default ? Sorry I've never done this before.

I am sorry, I am not a seller so cannot tell you how to do it, but it can be done.....I have had sellers do it for me. It was before defects but I don't see why you should get one.
Has the item got any other bidders or just the one who is keen to get it. If there are no other bidders you won't even have other angry bidders if you end the listing early.
Hopefully a few other sellers will come in later and can help.
