Hi - with the new rulings, I've been told by an agent I will be unable to use pre-bought AP mailers. Am wondering if I turned them inside out and then attached the mandatory Ebay label to this, would that be acceptable ? I realise I'll need to measure each item now which will be a pain but can't see any other option. TIA

I would be inclined to read the information sent to sellers for myself, rather than only rely on what an agent typing from a script said

Thanks for the reply Sandy. I've read the info they sent, basically as a non-pro seller I have until June 1st to use my mailers ( unless i am selling postcards, jewellery, swap cards etc and will fit inside an envelope )...the majority of my items are books though and unfortunately i have a few boxes of pre-bought mailers...

...or are worth under $20. Forgot to add that.

You will be unable to use prepaid. Anything else you should be able to stick a label onโฆ.

It's disgraceful that sellers weren't pre-warned about this weeks ago, so as to avoid making any new purchases of pre-paid mailers.
Thankfully, I only use their prepaid large letter envelopes. And have been running them down too.

Just a thought - a while back the guy at my local post office said he'd buy back any unused satchels if I didn't need them. May have just been a one time thing for that guy, but could be worth asking your post office.

I'll bet they wouldn't do it at mine!

Good idea, I'll give it a shot, fingers crossed. I have 3 large boxes of the mailers so will be caught with the lot otherwise. As Pnc55 said, it is disgraceful. They obviously had this in the pipeworks for some time yet gave small time sellers like myself just a few weeks notice. Very poor form indeed !
