Hello i sold a card collection online that i collected for my whole life & the buyer paid for it in cash which was fine as i didnt mind helping him avoid a postage fee. He claimed several days after receiving it that the collection was not as i listed it and i am 100% possitive it was, i even offered to buy up a few extra cards to send him just in case by some accident i am wrong and he was in fact correct about the issue to correct the mistake. he has now opened a dispute case on the item & destroyed my 100% possitive feedback!!! my problem here is how do i know he didnt just take the valuable cards out & claim they are not to steal from me?? & my feedback being ruined for unjust reasons? how do i fix this problem and issue any help??

If they paid in cash when they picked up from you then they can not get their money back and they should have inspected the item before handing over the cash.
So you can reply to their FB with
was happy with purchase and paid cash on pick up.
This will show others that he was happy when he paid and has no recourse now.
Do not if it is worth trying but nothing to lose by calling ebay and ask if they will remove the FB as they were happy when they picked them up and paid cash at the time.

If you answer in calm polite way, something along the lines given above, the 1 NEG will not hurt you. Just make sure you put this person on your blocked list so they cannot buy from you again. i doubt that ebay will remove the NEG but you have nothing to lose, and they have been removing lot of very well deserved NEGs lately.

If he paid cash then the only dispute he can open is an ebay one which has no teeth, just reply to it saying it was a pick up item which the buyer should have checked before making payment. You can still send some extras if you want but otherwise ignore them.
I am at a loss why you are more worried about feedback than losing money!
I presume it is the one who has already left a neg so just leave a follow up comment saying ''Item was pick up so buyer could check before paying cash'

You might want to add this buyer to your bbl once the transaction is complete also.

I had the misfortune of two buyers in as many months claiming receipt of less than posted. Both cases turned out to be fraudulent, with CCT footage provided to Paypal. We also handed over the info to police, but never found out the outcome. My suggestion is to always record packaging of multiples, and keep on file for period of time to defend a potential claim. On the flip side, another purchase turned out to be my muckup, so it goes both ways!

Only add a follow up comment if eBay refuses to remove the negative, otherwise the neg will be removed but your follow up comment will remain, and therefore draw attention to the fact that there was a problem.
But if it isn't removed, I'd add follow up of
"Buyer inspected at pick up, all cards were present"

when I have had feedback removed by ebay in the past, both the original feedback plus my follow up were removed

He should have checked before he walked off with the items..
I would not worry about this feedback..
It was cash on pick up and Ebay cannot take any money from your PP account... PP only covers items paid for by PP.

Unless of course you sell through the UK or US site in which case they can if you lose a dispute, that won't fly for a pick up item though regardless of where it was sold, the buyer has to be able to prove they have paid.
