RECEIVED A OFFER BUT OFFER OPTION NOT TURNED ON

G’day this is weird I have just received a offer on one of my listings but i have the best offer option turned off, how can someone make an offer ?

Yes but these options would only be done via the message system, there is no Best Offer options in your suggestions.

Obviously a glitch, as momentarily the Best Offer option must have been shown on my listing

... But the OP says the Make Offer button is not on their listings' page, and I just checked from my account too... and can't see it either... 

Maybe the button suddenly appeared on Friday? Maybe it was just a Friday glitch? When did you get the offer?

Interesting, if there is no Best Offer on the listing then where is the Buyer Finding it to send the offer, as there isn’t this option in EBay’s Help section or the Contact Seller option, the only way is by the message system

Was listed Saturday (Yesterday), your right tho the best offer option must have appeared momentarily it’s the only explanation

but I turned the option off as you can see 12/03 @ 1.03pm - Offer was received this morning 13/03 @ 6.20am

I have no idea if this is a real possibility... but... maybe the buyer saw the option, clicked on the button, then left the page where you can make an offer open and went to bed, then this morning he decided to finalize the offer? Would it still go through?
