What does your site say? Are you happy with this?
What might be the f/b implications?

I can't see where it says "Responds within 24 hours" on any of your listings?

Click the feedback score in the listing on the right and it will be below the store name.

Thank you for responding, do you mean click the number that is the feedback score? When I do that, I'm directed further down the page to store details, but there is no response time message below the store name for myself or anyone

I've been doing quite a bit of stalking - (hence the name.)

I've noticed that response times are all over the place ranging from 1 hour to 48 hours and beyond in some cases.

Now, I have mostly repeat customers, and rarely a newbie.   They don't ask questions.

They can see what they're getting and have been happy before.

Ebay have not given me a time for response on any of my stores.

My theory is that ebay is basing the time they've allotted you on an average of how much time you've taken to respond to questions from buyers in the past.

Does any of that make sense?

Sure does.

But this sounds like another beat up by ecommercebytes,   I think it's actually good that my buyers have a rough indication on how long before I respond,  nowhere on Ebay does it say you must respond in 1 hour,  just a ecommercebytes fiction yet again.

If I go to buy from someone and it says 24 or 48 hours,  I know now to sit by the computer hanging out for a response.  And if 24 hours doesnt suit me,  move on.

Thank you for the screenshot, I can't fathom why you can see that, but I can't?

Maybe take a look without logging in?

I always reply promptly, except for the odd occasion when someone is playing games with me, then I don't respond at all (so I guess now we should all be selecting "Message answered" when we don't respond or a response is not required?)

My average of responding within 12 hours would be accurate, but not really fair, as some of these responses are to questions that have come in overnight from international buyers.
