I sell an item on Ebay (item listed as free postage) so I factor that into my price, and the person recieves the item but finds out they purchased the wrong item and wants a refund is it normal I refund the item less postage costs I paid?
Buyer wants full refund of what he paid for the item, but I have to resell this item again and don't want to pay two lots of postage.
Nothing is wrong with the item btw.

Go to the link below and scroll down to 'How to cancel a postage label"
We are not eBay CS here, just members like yourself.

Seems they are too busy replying to themselves over and over to notice that bit

Yes, we get that.
But what you don't seem to realise is you're not talking to ebay here. This is a public messageboard and we're just members like you. We don't work for ebay. No one here does. If you want to talk to ebay, you'll have to contact them and this isn't the place to do it.
You'd be better off just doing as padi suggests and cancelling your own labels. That's probably what any ebay rep would tell you to do anyway.
