So I have sold an item on Ebay. I listed it as size 8 as that was the size I was told upon purchase. I am a size 7 and they were a bit too big for my liking. The buyer purchased about 20 something days ago and is asking to send back as they got the wrong size. I listed size 8 on my item and the buyer states that in the description there was an indication of Mens sizing so I cross checked the information. I accepted well below purchase price and am unsure of refund policy and what to do as the purchase was made quite a while ago, and It's been a certain number of days therfore I have withdrawn the money from paypal. What are the policies on refund as I stated information correctly and all?and

Judging by the other shoes being sold by the OP I am guessing that she sold them as size 7/8 womens sizing which would make them a Mens size 4/5 which is very small.
It all hinges on what size is on the boots.

Redback boots have the size on both the front and the back pull tags, as well as printed inside. There is no mistaking them. Regardless of what the OP said in the description about fitting a size 7, they were listed as size 8 boots. The tags would say they were size 8. Therefore, they are described as the buyer got a pair of size 8 Redback boots. As there are no women's range of boots, they can only be listed in the men's category. If they were listed in ladies, then they would have listed them in the wrong category.
Just because the OP has some women's items listed, doesn't mean they can't list something of a male variety. Selling items for women also doesn't mean the OP is female. A close male friend sells women's clothing. Occasionally he'll list something he's bought for himself and then decides he doesn't want it after all.

the picture I can see shows Redback size 5
so according to the Redback chart you have provided means Mens 5, Women 8
9 | 23 | 5 | 6 | 5 | 38 | 7 | 8 |

so definitely in the wrong category MENS because of the title BRAND NEW BOOTS SIZE 8
so should have been in WOMENS
and wrong on another level - it is not brand new, because they have been worn.
As I said, the OP should just accept the refund. Would probably have no trouble selling them again if listed correctly.

So confident.
However, these size 8 Redbacks are apparently size 5 Redbacks.

So many witty and helpful comments on this popular thread - sadly, the OP hasn't come back for an answer

I doubt that the OP will post again even if she has read the answers.
The original information provided was hardly adequate to give a proper answer....it was only because of some good detective work by members that the truth emerged.

My daughter with women's sz 10-11 AU feet wears a men's 8 or 9 in lace up Redbacks. My hubby wears a size 10 or 11 in the same lace up boot. They know their sizes; But do buy in a B&M store.
Evidently Redbacks are very comfy for everyday wear & becoming just as popular as Blundstone boots. Regardless of shoe category; Anyone looking for a pair of Redbacks should have a reasonable idea of their boot size for the type of boot. The OP perhaps needs to refine her selling skills & actually write a proper title & description?
