Return because it is not comfortable?

I sold a 'luxury' bra from a reputable manufacturer and now the buyer want's to return it because it is 'scratchy' and doesn't sit right.

I have read all the reviews and all are good comfort-wise bar one person who said it rubbed her nipples after several hours but qualified this by saying she had super sensitive skin and it would be fine for most.

I have a no return policy for hygiene reasons - would being 'scratchy' or not fitting right qualify for a defect? I guess if it comes down to it, the question is will eBay support this defect claim? Buyer has a high feedback number and seems to know the system well, paid just hours before a NPB claim and has made some quite snarky responses in her feedback.

Being quite new to selling, but not to eBay would appreciate some other perspectives please!

I think I'd wait a while .... after all, she's already given you neutral feedback ?

Oh!

I just read her feedback .... I think that's awful !!   I really don't think she deserves a refund .... just wait ... if she gets nasty, take it up with eBay and say you couldn't take it back as she'd worn it for a few hours (and how do you know whether it was a few hours or a lot longer)!!

Keep up the good work ... your previous buyers are happy ๐Ÿ™‚

From what I can see the only option for selling a pre-owned bra, is for a maternity bra  under baby - maternity clothing - bra

For an ordinary bra there is no option for pre-owned. Just new with tags and new without tags.

Just an update in case you were wondering. I had agreed to the refund but I sent a pleasant message to the buyer (although I was not feeling the love) to request that she revise the feedback once the refund was complete, which she agreed to.

Finally the parcel arrived, and within 30 minutes so did a message from the buyer asking for a refund. The item still looked brand new with tags attached, so I duly issued refund and a revise feedback link and seller duly revised feedback.

So all is fairly well, I will call eBay next to see if they will remove the defects!

P.S. I have revised my listings to show that I do accept refunds, as clearly it is pointless now to have a no refund policy.
