Morning all,
After years on ebay, I've got my first return request. I sold a book which I had listed as 'Good'. In the item description I had noted all the faults which included highlighting to a specific number of pages.
The buyer has requested a return on the basis the that book doesn't match the description as the book was listed as 'good'. The definition of 'good' states no highlighting to text. I have admitted that I missed that, but I pointed out that I have explicitly described the highlighting in the description.
What are your thoughts on this?
Many thanks.

If you think that is sufficient to win a dispute, then dispute the claim.
You will be risking the book, sale proceeds, ebay FVF, a $22 dispute resolution Fee + a sales metric defect.
$17.95 sale + postage, I would be offering them a partial refund and hoping they accept.

If it's the description as gutter suggests above, you loose,
It's not good and its definitely not very good.
Why not just be upfront, it doesnt match what good is, so pay the refund.
Not the buyers fault you didnt read what Good means. Even your own explanation above clearly says it doesnt match. Don't come here hoping we will agree.
